About GreenLEDWalls
The story behind the mast
One mast along the A28 near Assen-Noord, where entrepreneurs from the north of the Netherlands are seen big. Visible towards both Groningen and Zwolle, and yours to book.
The idea
Outdoor advertising for every entrepreneur
I am Paolo Assorgia, founder of GreenLEDWalls. In 2019 I started with one goal: to make smart, affordable and sustainable outdoor advertising accessible to every entrepreneur in the north of the Netherlands — the region where my own roots are.
Large-format motorway advertising was long reserved for national brands with national budgets. Along the A28, the local entrepreneur is shown just as big. You book it yourself, submit your own artwork and follow everything in your own customer portal. The customer portal is currently in Dutch.

The mast and the location
Along the A28, towards Groningen and Zwolle
The mast stands along the A28 near Assen-Noord, at a spot where traffic passes in both directions. It carries two LED screens, one for each direction of travel: your message is visible both towards Groningen and towards Zwolle.
Our own solar park surrounds the mast. That makes the location itself part of the story: seen big along the motorway, powered by the sun.

The construction
An open cell pattern in Corten steel
The mast is made largely of Corten steel: steel that forms its own warm layer of rust. That layer gives the mast its colour. The material was chosen for its low maintenance and long service life.
The LED modules sit in galvanised steel frames. The open, irregular cell pattern is inspired by shapes found in nature — designers call a pattern like this a Voronoi structure. You will see the same shape in our logo.
Energy
In the middle of our own solar park
The rows of solar panels of our own solar park surround the mast. The screens run on solar energy.
